Kate has a secret, as everyone does. Right before she moved to Maryland, Kate was diagnosed with Leukemia. Now all she has to do is keep it a secret. The problem is Kate falls in love with her best friend’s boyfriend, Derek. Once Derek finds out, the word “cancer” spreads like wildfire. Kate decides to go living her life like normal and Dr. Lemeix, Kate’s physician, has found a cure. There’s a catch, there’s only a five percent chance she’s going to live through it.
